Terms of Service — WeatherXM

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using WeatherXM websites (weatherxm.com, explorer.weatherxm.com, pro.weatherxm.com), operating WeatherXM meteorological hardware, or integrating with WeatherXM APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Hardware Purchases & Warranty

WeatherXM hardware products are sold with standard manufacturer warranties covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal outdoor operational conditions. Warranty terms do not cover physical damage resulting from improper installation, lightning strikes exceeding rated protection, or unauthorized hardware modification. Hardware purchases conducted via our online store are subject to the authoritative commerce, shipping, and return terms published at weatherxm.com/shop.

3. Station Operation & Data Contribution

Station owners deploying hardware connected to the WeatherXM observation network agree to follow recommended meteorological siting guidelines to ensure high-fidelity measurements. Station telemetry contributed to the network is qualified algorithmically using Quality of Data (QoD) scoring systems.

4. APIs & Commercial Licensing

Access to WeatherXM Pro REST APIs, streaming feeds, and historical datasets is subject to the rate limits and commercial terms associated with your account tier or smart contract micropayments (x402 Agent API). Redistribution of bulk raw telemetry without appropriate licensing is prohibited.

5. Disclaimer of Meteorological Warranties

While WeatherXM employs rigorous physical qualification and statistical calibration (such as FACT model verification), meteorological forecasts and live observations are provided "as-is." WeatherXM data should not be used as the sole basis for life-critical emergency navigation or disaster management decisions without secondary verification.
